Experience Pays Off

I gained valuable legal experience while working for the German Treuhandanstalt, which was responsible for privatizing companies from the former GDR. As a Management Consultant at that time I and my team of 30 staff members and assistants were in charge to protect the immovable properties of the former SED owned associations from environmental pollution. After that thrilling experience I worked as an adjuster and claims manager for a global insurance company. In 1999 I launched the Rome office for an international Consulting Agency headquartered in Northern Italy.

Upon returning to Germany in 2001, I founded my own executive recruitment firm in Hamburg. My goal has been to combine my personal strengths with my international experience and a global social and professional network. Since I am a lawyer by profession I easily entered the market of the consulting industry up to date.

I am an active member in various national and international associations, including the Überseeclub Hamburg and the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany, and am engaged in several charitable organizations. I live in Hamburg, near the beautiful river Elbe, with my wife and son.

I was born in 1964 in Hamburg, Germany. After completing high school in Bavaria, I attended business school and law school in Würzburg, Hamburg and Siena before taking the bar exam.
